2018 Mazda CX-5 Goes Premium, CX-4 Called To Fill In Empty Spot

With what Mazda has to offer right now, there is really not a whole lot of space for the Mazda CX-4 to exist but with rumors about Mazda thinking about upgrading the Mazda CX-5, some people believe that the Mazda CX-4 might have a future here in the US soon.

It has been reported that Mazda not only plans to give the Mazda CX-5 an upgrade but they are also looking into the possibility of turning the Mazda CX-5 into a premium model. Not only does that mean that the Mazda CX-5 will be getting some extra features but it also mean that the Mazda CX-5 will be coming with a bigger price tag. Some people are also hoping that the Mazda CX-5 will come with an upgraded engine as well.

That would widen the gap between the Mazda CX-5 and the Mazda CX-3 and that might leave a gap big enough for the Mazda CX-4 to sneak in. It is not that we are in need of a model like the Mazda CX-4 but some people have been hoping that Mazda would start offering it here.
