2018 Mazda CX-5 Climbs To Make Way For CX-4?

With where the Mazda CX-5 is sitting in the market right now, there is really not a whole lot of space for the Mazda CX-4 and that is probably the reason why Mazda decided not to offer the Mazda CX-4 here in the US.

However, things might be changing soon as new report suggest that Mazda might be looking to upgrade the Mazda CX-5. It is believed that the 2018 Mazda CX-5 might be released as a premium model with a higher price tag.

If that happens, Mazda will be leaving a gap in their lineup. A gap that the CX-4 could fill if they wanted to. There is not a whole lot of details about what the Mazda CX-5 will be getting for 2018 but some people believe that it might come with the new engine that Mazda showed off when they announce their new Mazda CX-9.

The new engine should help solve the performance issue that the Mazda CX-5 customers seems to be complaining about.
