2018 Mazda 6: Google Lend A Helping Hand

Mazda is one of the very few automakers that are actually not in a hurry to get the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support ready for their new models but thanks to Google, the Android Mazda users will not longer have to wait for the update.

Google announce that they will be releasing the Android Auto app on their PlayStore which means all Android users will be able to use the app now. When the app was first released, the app did not come with the OK Google feature and that meant that users will have to manually click on the microphone to use the voice command feature.

However, Google added the feature in the last update so it is even more convenient now. The app will run on any Android device running on the Android 5.0 OS and above. We are still hoping that Mazda would release a support soon but at least there is a solution now.
