2018 Mazda 6: Google Has The Answer

By  |

It is clear that Mazda will not be offering the Apple Carplay and Android Auto support anytime soon but Android users already have a solution to that problem. Google.

Google release their Android Auto app on their Google Store. This will allow their Android users to download the app and run it on their smartphone to replace the infotainment system that their vehicle has.

When Google first release the app, the app did not come with the OK Google support which means users had to manually click on the microphone button to use the voice command feature but that has since been updated which means the app now support OK Google.

The app will run on any Android device that runs on the Android 5.0 OS and above and you can get it from the Google Playstore right now. The app is a great solution but we are still hoping that Mazda would change their mind about the support.
