2018 Jeep Wrangler Will Be Keeping Up

By  |

The thing about popular models like the Jeep Wrangler is that the demand takes to be more than the supply and buyers are then forced to wait for a long period of time before they can get their hands on one.

To avoid that happening to the 2018 Jeep Wrangler, FCA will be upgrading the Wrangler plant so that it will not only be able to build the aluminum Jeep Wrangler but will also be able to crank out more Jeep Wrangler annually.

Jeep has already confirmed that the Jeep Wrangler will be staying at their Toledo plant. FCA’s goal is to increase the capacity of the plant from 240,000 yearly to 450,000 yearly although the plant will only be pushing out 350,000 units of the Jeep Wrangler. The rest of the plant will be working on the upcoming new truck based on the Jeep Wrangler.

FCA will be investing about $700,000 million to upgrade the plant. The upgrade will also create 700 new jobs at the plant.
