2018 Ford Mustang: No Farewell Party For V6

Ford will be dropping the V6 engine when they release the 2018 Ford Mustang and it looks like nobody is really upset by their decision.

The fact is that the V6 Ford Mustang was already being ignored when Mazda brought out the new Ford Mustang with the EcoBoost engine. With the 3.7 liters V6 engine now gone, Ford will have more space to offer their customers an even better engine.

The Ford Mustang base model will be powered by a 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine. Ther 5.0 liter V8 will also be coming back but the 2018 model will be getting an upgrade so that it is more fuel efficient as well as more powerful this time around. Ford will also be bringing in their new 10-speed auto transmission.

According to Motor1, the CT Performance pack could also be coming in with the new Pilot Super Sport 4 tires from Michelin.
