Chevrolet is not holding back when it comes to their Corvette but will the new Corvette be able to keep up with the Ford Mustang?
We have not heard from Corvette yet but it is believed that the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 model might be coming with an engine that will be able to push out about 700hp. The most the current Corvette can offer is about 650hp right now so having a 700hp is a huge leap for Chevrolet.
As good as that sound, the Corvette will still not be getting any closer to the Ford Mustang GT500 model. It is believed that the 2018 Ford Mustang GT500 could be coming in with an 800hp engine which means that Corvette is still far from threatening it. In fact, the Corvette might also have problems taking on the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat model which pushes out about 707hp right now.
While the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 have been spotted many times right now, Chevrolet has done a great job covering it up so the design is still a huge mystery now.
