By  |

The 2017 Volkswagen e-Golf will be arriving this spring. We got to see the all-electric vehicle at the LA Auto Show last year but at that time, EPA was not ready with its numbers yet.

EPA has now announced that the 2017 Volkswagen e-Golf will be coming in with 126mpg-e in the city and 111mpg-e on the highway. They also added that with the new powertrain, the estimated fuel cost of the e-Golf is just $550.

With the 35.8kWh battery pack, the Volkswagen e-Golf will be able to travel about 83 – 125miles. Not only is the battery bigger but the engine is also slightly more power now. With the engine upgrade, the Volkswagen e-Golf will now be offering about 134hp and 214lb ft of torque. It will need 9.6 seconds to go from 0-60mph and will have a top speed of 93mph.

What do you think of the Volkswagen e-Golf?
