2017 Toyota Highlander Got Acadia Running For Cover

If you can look past all the chrome that the GMC Acadia has going on, the Acadia is one SUV you won’t regret getting. How will the GMC Acadia fare against the 2017 Toyota Highlander?

The Toyota Highlander will be powered by a 2.7 liter inline 4 engine that will be delivering about 185hp and 184lb ft of torque and will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will return about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway. Other engine option includes a 3.5 liter 6 engine and a hybrid engine option. The Highlander will also come with standard features like glass breakage sensor, dusk sensing headlights, emergency brake assist and more.

The GMC Acadia, on the other hand, will come with a 2.5-liter I-4 engine that will be delivering about 190hp and 190lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will return about 21mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. It will also come with standard features like dual skyscape sunroof and an 8inch display screen.

The Toyota Highlander will retail for $40,228 while the GMC Acadia will retail for $29,995.
