2017 Toyota Highlander: Acadia Breaking Out In Sweat

The GMC Acadia is one of the top SUV models in the market if you can look past all the chrome on the outside. Will the 2017 Toyota Highlander be able to challenge it?

The GMC Acadia now comes with a 2.5-liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be delivering g about 194hp and 190lb ft of torque and it will be returning about 21mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. The Acadia will also be fitted with features like an 8inch display screen as well as a dual skyscape sunroof.

The Toyota Highlander, on the other hand, will come with a 2.7 liter inline 4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be offering about 185hp and 184lb ft of torque and will return about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway. Toyota will also be offering a 3.5 liter V6 engine option and a hybrid option. The Highlander will be fitted with features like glass breakage sensor, emergency brake assist, dusk sensing headlights and more.

The GMC Acadia will retail for $29,995 while the Toyota Highlander will retail for $40,228.
