2017 Subaru BRZ: Nope, Less Isn’t More.

Fans of the Subaru BRZ have been hoping that Subaru would do something about the performance of the Subaru BRZ but it looks like that will not be happening on the 2017 model as well.

The Subaru BRZ was amazing when it first arrive but now that it has been around for a few years now, it is starting to feel like the BRZ needed more. While it is true that the 2017 model will be delivered slightly more hp than the previous model, the upgrade won’t be as great as we thought it will be.

The 2017 Subaru BRZ will still be running on the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter flat-four engine that will be delivering 5hp more than the previous model which means it will be offering about 205hp now. The torque will go from 151lb ft to 156lb ft. With the upgrade, the Subaru BRZ will be able to go from 0-62mph in 6.2seconds, only 0.1seconds faster than the previous model.

Subaru reluctance to offer the BRZ with a turbocharged engine might cost at the end of the day.
