2017 Porsche 911 GTS: Brownie Point For Keeping What Other Won’t

Not everybody was happy with some of the changes that Porsche plans to make on the 911 GTS model. One that got a lot of heat from the fans was their decision to offer the 911 GTS with a turbo engine.

Despite the benefits of having a turbo engine, the purist thinks that the turbo engine would ruin the Porsche 911 GTS but Porsche might get a few extra brownie points for keeping what others will not keep.

It is pretty common to see automaker ditching the manual transmission now since the most people seems to prefer the auto transmission. However, it is believed that Porsche plans to continue offering their 911 GTS with a manual transmission for 2017.

The new Porsche 911 GTS will be powered by a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged six cylinder engine that should be offering at least 420hp when it arrives as that is what it is delivering under the hood of the Porsche 911 Carrera S.
