2017 Mazda 6 Repeats Costly Mistake
We do not think that Mazda choosing not to offer both the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support will be a deal breaker for many but it does make people reconsider the Mazda models.
The infotainment system is usually not on the top of people minds when they go out and search for a new model. The design, performance, safety tech and fuel efficiency are usually their main priority but they were have narrowed it down to two or three that offers similar features, performance and price, not having the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support end up being the deciding factor and the Mazda models would always be at a disadvantage here.
While not everybody will want to sync their smartphone to their vehicle, there is no denying the convenient these support offers. Without the Android Auto and Apple Carplay support, the Mazda models are starting to feel a little outdated and that is going to hurt them in a long run.
