Jeep made it clear that they will be keeping the box on frame design that the current Jeep Wrangler is using. So does that means that the Jeep Wrangler will look the same on the outside? Well, not really.
While they will be keeping the box on frame design, Jeep will be modifying some of the exterior features as well. Spies have already spotted the Jeep Wrangler test mule and while the vehicle was heavily covered, it was also clear that the front of the 2017 Jeep Wrangler is a little longer now, the windshield design has also been modified.
Previous spy shots also reveal that the Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with a new set of front and rear axles along with new exhaust and new suspension. The 2017 Jeep Wrangler should also weigh less since they will be replacement some of the materials with aluminum.
