While Jeep has decided to keep the current Jeep Wrangler design for a little while longer, the rest of the Jeep Wrangler will not be the same. Besides getting a powertrain update, the 2017 Jeep Wrangler will also be getting some greener updates as well.
It was reported that Jeep is working to release the 2017 Jeep Wrangler with a hybrid powertrain which they will be releasing after the released of the standard model. Besides getting a greener powertrain, it is believed that Jeep aims to make the Wrangler safer for the driver by adding on a few new safety features.
Spies shots also revealed that the Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with a new set of axles in the back and in the front along with new geometry suspension and exhaust.
There were also talk about a four-door variant being produce that it will be released alongside the standard three-door model.
