2017 Jeep Wrangler Given The Opportunity Now

It always felt like Jeep Wrangler sales potential was limited not because it is not wanted but because of the slow production rate of their Toledo plant. That was one of the reasons why some people thought that Jeep will be moving the Jeep Wrangler to another plant when they start working on the new model but that is not what Jeep did.

Instead of moving it to a bigger plant, FCA has decided to upgrade their Toledo plant. Thanks to the upgrade, the Toledo plant should be able to push out about 450,000 units annually although it is believed that the plant will only aim to deliver 350,000 Jeep Wrangler annually. The rest of the plant will be working on the Jeep Wrangler-based pickup truck.

With the plant now getting upgraded, the Jeep Wrangler should be able to make their way to the top to become the top-selling Jeep model.

FCA investing $1.05 billion in upgrading the plant. The upgrade also created 700 new jobs at the Toledo plant.
