2017 Honda Ridgeline: EPA Won’t Be Enough

The Honda Ridgeline will be coming in to compete with models like the GMC Canyon, Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado, and Nissan Frontier. Do you think it has what it takes?

The Honda Ridgeline will be coming in with a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed transmission or a nine-speed auto transmission. The engine will be delivering about 300hp and will come with a front wheel drive system although there will be an all wheel drive option as well.

It is also estimated the Honda Ridgeline should have a tow rating of 7000pounds. Along with all the interesting truck bed features, the Honda Ridgeline should be one formidable opponent but that might not be the case.

While the consumer was impressed with what Honda has to offer, many of them felt that the Honda Ridgeline might be overpriced. It is estimated that the base model will come with a $35,000 which is way more than what the other trucks are asking for.
