2017 Honda CR-V Won’t Be A Threat To RAV4, Hybrid To Blame

Who would have thought that hybrid could play such a big role here? Honda has been trying to catch up to their biggest rival, the Toyota RAV4 for the longest time now and while they have been closing the gap, it does not feel like they are going to overtake the Toyota anytime soon especially with the missing Hybrid.

They might have a chance if Toyota did not add on the Hybrid option. Thanks to the new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, the sales of the RAV4 went up by 10% which means the hybrid did help boost the sales of the RAV4.

The Honda CR-V on the other hand still does not have a hybrid option to offer their customers. It is believed that the 2018 Honda CR-V might be getting a plug-in hybrid engine but it does not seem likely that they will be offering it on the 2017 model.

Do you think having a hybrid option would make things easier for Honda and their Honda CR-V
