2017 Honda CR-V vs Toyota RAV4: One Not Keeping Up

It does seem like all the consumers want right now is a hybrid-powered model. Toyota wasted no time responding to their demand by offering the current RAV4 with a hybrid option but Honda did no such thing.

Fans were hoping that the 2017 Honda CR-V would come with a hybrid option soon after the release of the standard model but it is clear now that Honda had no plans to make that happen. It is believed that Honda is currently waiting to offer the hybrid engine when the 2018 model arrives.

So how much will their decision cost them? It has been reported that the sales of the Toyota RAV4 went up by 10% when Toyota first release the hybrid option. While the CR-V is still ahead of the RAV4 right now, the missing hybrid might cost them in the future.

A hybrid engine is not the only thing that the 2018 Honda CR-V will have going on. It will also come with an upgraded exterior based on the new Civic model.
