The Honda Pilot is one amazing looking vehicle but Honda will not be using its design to design the upcoming Honda CR-V. Instead of the Honda Pilot, the Honda CR-V new design will be based on the new Civic.
It was initially believed that Honda will be using the Honda Pilot design for the CR-V but it was clear that the Civic was their ultimate choice after spies spotted the Honda CR-V getting tested out in the open.
Some of the Honda Civic features like the grille, taillights, and headlights design can easily be sported although the rest of the vehicle was heavily covered in camo stickers.
The Honda CR-V will also come riding on the same platform and will most likely be powered by the same 1.5 liters VTEC Turbo engine or 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine. The younger looking design should help make the CR-V more appealing to the younger buyers.
