With the kind of response Honda got when they released the Honda Pilot, everybody assumes that they will be using the same design on the upcoming Honda CR-V in hopes that it will receive the same response but it looks like that is not what Honda has in mind.
Instead of the Honda Pilot, the Honda CR-V will be getting its design inspiration from the Honda Civic model. Like the Pilot, the new Honda Civic was also very well receive and it looks like Honda plans to use that to boost the sales of their upcoming Honda CR-V.
The Honda CR-V was spotted by spies a few times now and from what we can see, it looks like the CR-V will be taking the grille, headlight design, and taillight design as well. It is also said that the Honda CR-V will come riding on the Honda Civic platform as well.
There are no official details about the engine yet but it is believed that we might be seeing a 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine or a 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine under the hood.
