While the Honda Pilot does look amazing, it does look a little too mature. The Honda Civic is the exact opposite and that could be the reason why Honda decided based the Honda CR-V on the Honda Civic instead of the Honda Pilot.
Giving the Honda CR-V a younger looking design should help make the CR-V more appealing to the younger buyers. The Honda CR-V was spotted getting tested out in the open and from what we can see, the Honda CR-V will be getting Civic’s grille, headlights, and taillight design.
The new Honda CR-V should also be sitting on the Honda Civic Platform as well. It is believed that the CR-V will be powered by a 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine. A 2.0 liter VTEC Turno engine might be offered as well.
