2017 Honda CR-V Ignoring Hybrid Not The Right Move

With the Honda CR-V biggest rival seemingly doing even better now with a Hybrid option, the missing Honda CR-V Hybrid option might be a real problem for Honda.

Honda’s mission to take down the Toyota RAV4 has just gotten harder now with the addition of the new Hybrid option. As if it wasn’t hard enough, the new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is said to have helped increase the sales of the Toyota RAV4 by 10%.

At this point, it does not look like Honda has any plans to release a hybrid version of their Honda CR-V but it is believed that Honda is working to offer a Hybrid option on the upcoming Honda CR-V model.

New spy shots seem to reveal that the upcoming Honda CR-V will come with a new design that will be based on the Honda Civic. That and a new Hybrid engine could be what Honda needs to finally take down the Toyota RAV4.
