The Honda CR-V have already been spotted by spies when it was out getting tested and although most of the test unit were covered in stickers, we could still make out some of the features.
Based on the new grille design, taillight as well as headlight design, it is clear that the Honda CR-V new design will be based on the Honda Civic. Those features match what Honda has to offer on their new Civic.
It was previously believed that Honda might use the Pilot design to design the upcoming Honda CR-V but it looks like the new Honda Civic won them over at the end of the day.
Not only will it be coming with a Civic design but the Honda CR-V will also be riding on the same platform and will most likely be fitted with the same engine options including the 1.5 liter VTEC engine as well as the 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine.
We should be seeing the new Honda CR-V at the LA Auto Show.
