The Honda Civic and the Volkswagen Golf are both fun cars to drive in. While Honda went all out with their brand new design and upgrades, the Volkswagen Golf upgrades were more subtle.

The Honda Civic will be coming in with a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine that will be offering about 158hp. There is also a 1.5 liter turbo four engine that will be offering about 174hp. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT.

The turbo engine will be returning about 31mpg in the city and 42mpg on the highway. It will need 6.9 seconds to go from 0-60mph and has a top speed of 126mph. The Honda Sensing package will now come with automated emergency braking, lane-departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control and more. The base model will retail for $20,535.

The Volkswagen Golf, on the other hand, will come in with a 1.8 liter turbocharged inline four engine that will be offering about 170hp and 199lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a five-speed manual or six-speed auto transmission.

It will need about 7.5seconds to go from 0-60mph and has a top speed of 125mph. The Golf will also come with a $20,715 price tag.
