2017 Honda Civic vs Subaru Impreza: May The Better Model Win

The Subaru Impreza is great but does it has what it takes to face up against the popular new Honda Civic?

The Honda Civic not only comes with a new exterior design but it will also be fitted with tons of new tech and features. Under the hood is a 2.0 liter four engine that will be offering about 158hp. There is also a 174hp 1.5-liter turbo four engines. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual or CVT and will return about 31mpg in the city and 42mpg on the highway.

According to Honda, the Honda Civic 1.5 liter turbo engine will allow the vehicle to go from 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds with a top speed of 174hp. Safety features like automated emergency braking, lane departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control and more will be offered as standard safety features now. The base model will retail for $20,535.

The Subaru Impreza will be powered by a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine that will be offering about 152hp. The engine will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission o CVT and will return about 25mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway.

The Impreza will need 8.6 seconds to go from 0-60mph and has a top speed of 122mpg. The vehicle will come with standard features like the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, and more.

The base Subaru Impreza will retail for $19,715. So who won?
