2017 Ford F-150 Raptor: Don’t Be Sad About Its Voice

While it is true that the Ford F-150 Raptor will never sound the same anymore now that its standard engine will be replaced with a new turbo engine. What we will be getting in return is definitely worth losing its voice over.

One of the biggest problems the fans had with the Ford F-150 Raptor going turbo was the loss of the sweet engine noise but that can easily be forgiven if what we get in return is a whole lot more power.

According to Ford, the Ford F-150 Raptor new engine will allow it to deliver about 450hp as well as 510lb ft of torque. The previous model delivers about 411hp and 434lb ft of torque. Not only did it get more power but it is also a lot more fuel efficient now.

The new Ford F-150 Raptor will return about 15mpg in the city and 18mpg on the highway while the previous model only returned about 11mpg in the city and 16mpg on the highway.
