Although the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will be a lot more fuel efficient now compared to the previous model, some fans are still not happy with the sacrifice that the Ford F-150 Raptor had to make.
To make sure the 2017 model is more fuel efficient, Ford had to replace the old engine with the new EcoBoost engine. While that did help with the fuel economy and performance it did not help with the engine sound.
One of the reasons why the Ford F-150 Raptor was so loved was because of its engine roar. The new turbo engine would not be able to create an engine sound close the previous engine. Some fans even commented that the new Ford F-150 Raptor sounded like it wanted to shout out loud but couldn’t.
