2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Gets Attention For Sticking With Sticks

Most automakers are now trying to do away with a manual transmission. Even the performance model are offered with auto transmission now. In some case, the auto transmission is the only transmission option there is but luckily for the fans, there are still models like the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that still comes with a manual transmission option.

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will be coming in with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that will be offering about 650hp. Customers can choose to have the car with a 10-speed auto or a six-speed manual transmission but for most of the purist, the manual is the only way to go.

Of course, they are not the only performance model out there with a manual transmission option. Models like the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and GT350R still comes with it but the numbers are getting smaller every year.

Even though it might seem like the automakers are out to make things miserable for the manual performance car driver, the reality is that less and fewer drivers are opting for the manual transmission and the automakers are just adapting to that.
