2017 Chevrolet Bolt: Nothing Left For Tesla To Win

This is not the year for Tesla. They took so long to finalize the Bolt fighting Tesla Model 3 that the vehicle did not make it into the award.

With the Tesla Model 3 out of the picture, the Chevrolet Bolt managed to claim the 2017 Green Car Of The Year Award for themselves. The Chevrolet Bolt comes in with a 60kWh powered electric engine that will offer about 200hp. The Bolt has a range of 238miles.

The new Chevrolet Bolt managed to take down models like Chrysler Pacifica, Kia Optima, Toyota Prius Prime as well as the BMW 330e iPerformance. This is great new for Chevrolet as they get to keep the award for another year. The Chevrolet Volt won the same award last year.

While the Tesla Model S was nominated for a few awards this year, it did not win any of them. Maybe things would turn out better for them next year when the Model 3 arrives.
