2017 BMW 7-Series: Infotainment System Coming To CES!

It is no secret that BMW is currently developing the next-gen 7-Series and the luxury car could be coming with the world’s most sophisticated infotainment system around.

BMW teased earlier today that they have developed a new infotainment system that has a gesture control system. The carmaker explained that with the new system, drivers can make hand gestures in front of the infotainment screen to control the system.

BMW revealed that the new gesture control system utilizes a 3D sensor in the roof of a car to read hand movements made in front of the dashboard and every gesture will have its own specific command. BMW calls it, Airtouch.

Of course, we are still clueless on how Airtouch will help in improving the driving experience of the 7-Series but all will be demonstrated when the system takes the stage at the next CES event.
