2016 Volvo XC90 Luxury Spec Is The Model Wich Buyers Prefer

Volvo Cars have revealed, rather surprisingly, that three quarters of orders for their latest XC90 SUV consist of the top of the market inscription model.

Alain Visser, Senior VP for Marketing, Sales & Customer Service, states that “With six per cent of customers choosing the top end Inscription model, it is fair to say that we have now entrenched our position as a premium car maker.”

It may seem as though Visser is boasting somewhat, however the point he makes is a very good one. The new XC90 is seen by people as a top of the range SUV, although with a few added extras people coud dispute that the Momentum is a better purchase. At that price range it is all rather meaningless though.

Volvo have had almost 57,000 orders for the new XC90 in total which is much more than their predicted 50,000. To make sure the company can keep up with its demand they are also holding shifts at its plant in Torslanda, Sweden (they produce vehicles in its homeland even though they are owned by Chinese.

The XC90 could even become one of the top three best selling models of its sort by the end of 2015 if it keeps its momentum (excuse the pun). Well done Volvo, you’ve done a good job!
