2016 Volkswagen Golf R Not A Focus RS Fighter Just Yet
With what the Volkswagen Golf R has to offer right now, it might have some problem trying to take down the popular new Ford Focus RS model.
The Volkswagen Golf R will be coming in with a 2.0 liter inline 4 engine that will be paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The engine will be offering about 292hp and 280lb ft of torque and will be returning about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway. Features like dusk sensing headlights, stability control, and traction control will all come as standard safety features.
The Ford Focus RS, on the other hand, will come in with a 2.3 liter inline 4 engine that will be offering about 350hp and 350lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual trasmission. It will also come with safety features like cornering lights, fog lights, DRL and more. Besides those, the new Focus RS will also be fitted with their new Drift Mode.
