2016 Toyota Prius: EPA Rating Saves The Day

Things might not be looking so good for the Toyota Prius if not for their EPA rating. When it was announced that the Prius will finally be getting a new design, everybody was more than happy.

We were expecting to see something different but what we did not expect was the odd looking aggressive beast that Toyota showed off. While the last one was just boring, the new Prius is just plain ugly.

Luckily, this the Prius is a hybrid model, people were still interested in knowing what the upgraded Prius will be able to offer. According to EPA, the 2016 Toyota Prius will be able to return about 54mpg in the city and 50mpg in the highway and that is only the standard model.

The Eco model will return about 58mpg in the city and 53mpg on the highway. Things are not looking too bad for the Prius now that they have managed prove that they are still one of the best when it comes to fuel efficiency.
