2016 Nissan Maxima: 5 Trims, 1 Engine, June Release

Earlier this year, Nissan did a final unveiling of the next-gen Maxima. Now, the carmaker is back to share that the Maxima is going to come out in 5 different trims.

The entry level model will retail from $32,410 and it is known as the S model. This particular trim sees the Maxima featuring all the standard basic features which include a navigation system, 8” infotainment system and also a remote start.

On trim above it is known as the SV. It will be slightly pricier than the basic trim and this is because it comes with heated leather seats and a sonar system. Following the SV is the SL that adds in a panoramic sunroof and every safety technology available.

Then there is the second-best trim which is going to retail from $37,670. Named as the SR, the model offers stiffer suspensions with a front strut to dampen chassis vibration. Also, the car is equipped with intelligent dynamic control.

Last but not least is the Maxima Platinum model. The range-topping trim comes with a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, driver attention alert and quilted leather on the seats.

Regardless of the choice made, the Maxima will be powered by one engine only and it is the 3.5L V6 that produces 300hp. The engine is mated to a CVT transmission that pumps the ponies on the front wheels. The Maxima is said to make its debut somewhere in June next month.
