2016 Nissan Leaf Won’t Keep Passengers Safe

Nissan will be issuing a new recall here in North America to recall back the Nissan Leaf after a problem was discovered with the airbags. According to the recall, a total of 4520 Nissan Leaf will be affected by the recall and they are not alone.

The recall will also affect the Nissan Sentra as well. The issue here is with the wiring harness connector. Nissan announces that the connector might detach from the airbags. If that happens, the passenger airbag might not deploy and it needs to.

According to Nissan, recalled models will be inspected and if a problem was detected with te wiring harness connector, they will replace the main body of the harness as well as the passenger airbag module.
