The base model will also come with safety features like DRL, ABS, Traction control, tire pressure monitor, stability control and more.

The Ford Escape, on the other hand, will be running on a 2.5 liter I-4 engine that will be delivering about 186hp and 170lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will return about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway making it more fuel efficient that the Jeep Cherokee. The Ford Escape will also come with safety features like backup camera, stability control, traction control, ABS and more.

The Jeep Cherokee will retail for $23,495 while the Ford Escape will retail for $23,590.
