2016 Honda Civic: Not A Good Start

With all the attention the Honda Civic got before it was release, things should be smooth sailing for them for this year but only if they can start producing the Honda Civic.

The Japanese automaker has now issued a stop-sale for the 2016 Honda Civic after they discovered an issue with the engine. According to the report, the stop sale will affect models that are fitted with the 2.0-liter engine.

The engine is believed to have been missing the piston pin snap rings which could lead to the pistons or other parts getting damaged. A total of 34,000 units of the Honda Civic will be affected.

Not only will they be issuing a stop sale but they will also be recalled models that have already been delivered. Customers will be informed of the recall in March. While you might not be able to get the 2.0 liters, there is still that turbocharged engine to consider.
