2016 Ford Ranger: Wants To Claim US As Home Once More

With the sudden rise in the popularity of trucks, more and more automakers are showing real interest in the segment including Ford. It is believed that Ford is working to bring the Ford Ranger back to the US to compete with some of the new trucks.

The Ford Ranger was taken out from the US market when sales dropped to an all time low but now that the demand for trucks has improved drastically, will see the Ranger come back to the US.

Spies have spotted the Ford Ranger getting tested here in the US. It has been reported that Ford will be building the Ford Ranger at their Michigan plant after the contract for the Ford Focus and Ford C-Max ends.

While the Ranger was taken out from the US, the Ford Ranger is still a strong competitor in some of the other markets like Australia. We will have to wait and see if it has what it takes to compete with the models like the Chevrolet Colorado.
