2016 Ford Focus RS: Will Flashbangs Be Dropped On Road?

If you know anything about the military then you will be aware that a flashbang is used when it comes to blinding enemies. It seems that Ford are now making a similar technology to use for their future vehicles.

To be more specific, Ford have just brought out released camera lights which is a prototype of a technprototype of a technology called camera lights. What it actually is is a pair of fog lights. The camera lights will be able to locate and potential dangers on the road during the night time and any object, person or animal will be illuminated.

One of the things the feature does is rotate the lights independently allowing them to aim direclty at the potential hazard. We are concerned however, that the camera light may cause more problems than it will do good.

The reason being that if the lights were to shine directly at a human then they would be blinded by the light. Therefore the person won’t be able to react quickly and this could cause a crash.

Ford state that the camera lights are almost ready yo be released and if that is indeed the case then they may be included on the upcoming Focus RS. The lights have not yet been demonstrated by Ford so we obviously can’t say for definite that a person would indeed be blinded by them.
