2016 Chevrolet Colorado Duramax Not Going To Pull Their Weight

Despite being one of the best looking mid-size truck in the market right now, the Chevrolet Colorado still seems to be having trouble keeping up with the Toyota Tacoma. Their hope now is that the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax will be able to pull its weight.

Coming is as one of the most fuel efficient mid-size truck in the market, the Chevrolet Colorado will be coming in with a 2.8 liter four cylinder diesel engine that will be delivering about 161hp and 369lb ft of torque.

The Colorado Duramax with its 2WD system will return about 22mpg in the city and 31mpg on the highway. The 4WD system, on the other hand, will offer about 20mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway.

Even with all of that, the Chevrolet Colorado is still trailing behind the Tacoma. We were expecting to see things turn for the better last month when the diesel model start arriving at the dealers but it did not.
