2016 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel: Fuel Saver Not Doing The Trick

The Chevrolet Colorado Diesel will come in as one of the most fuel-efficient truck in the market and because of that, people predicted that its arrival will help boost the sales of the Chevrolet Colorado but it looks like even the fuel saver is not enough.

The Chevrolet Colorado comes in with one of the nicest truck design in the market, pair that with its fuel-saving powertrain and new features and you would think that Chevrolet will have a winner.

While the Chevrolet Colorado is not doing bad, it is still trailing behind one of their toughest rival, the Toyota Tacoma and even with the diesel model arriving at dealers, Chevrolet can’t seem to close the gap between them and the Toyota Tacoma.

The Chevrolet Colorado Duramax will be coming in with a 2.8 liter four cylinder diesel engine that will be pushing out about 181hp and 169lb ft of torque. The diesel truck will be offering about 31mpg on the highway and 22mpg in the city with the 2WD system while the 4WD system will offer about 29mpg on the highway and 20mpg in the city.
