May 16 has finally passed us and it saw Chevrolet unveiling the finalized Camaro. The next-gen sports sedan is poised to make its debut later this year and the unveiled concept appeared as how we expected it to be.
Being built on the ATS platform from Cadillac, the Camaro features a smaller built size. Furthermore, Chevrolet confirmed that they intend to maximize the Camaro’s power by making the vehicle much lighter than before.
Chevrolet has done a pretty great job so far after it announced that the upcoming Camaro is about 300 pounds lighter than the existing model. Surely, power output is going to improve tremendously from this.
Unfortunately, Chevrolet is still pending to share the performance figures of the future Camaro. Until that happens, we can’t truly measure on how big the improvements on the vehicle are.
