The Detroit Motor Show, which happened in January this year, became the platform for Nissan to unveil their brand new Sports Sedan Concept. However, no details on the vehicle were spilled back then.
The scenario changed when Nissan, once again, brought the mysterious concept to recent New York Auto Show. Doing so, it simply implies that Nissan is serious about the Sports Sedan Concept. Things became clearer when Nissan confirmed that the Concept will be the next Nissan Maxima.
Nissan’s North America Chairman, Jose Munoz, the relationship between the Sport Sedan Concept and the next Maxima will be similar as the one among the Resonance Concept and the 2015 Murano.
Furthermore, Munoz has no desire to make many changes for the final product. Nissan intends for the Maxima to look identical to its concept model.
The 2015 Maxima is expected to step into production after it gets launched later this year. Fans are hoping for Nissan to stay true to their words as the concept seriously looks wild, exotic and appealing in every way.
