2015 Honda HRV Crossover Fit: Taking Coupe Designs To A Whole New Level

The Honda HRV Crossover Fit is the next big thing to come from the Japanese carmaker and the car is worth looking forward to. Aside from the fact that it is being built like a coupe, the HRV Crossover Fit is full of illusions on its design.

For starters, the hatchback is not a 2-door vehicle. It actually has 4-doors to offer. Apparently, the rear doors are designed to hide the door handles and borders to make the HRV Crossover Fit looking like a genuine coupe. It also features a curvy roofline to offer that bullet-shape styling.

The downside to this is that space is sacrificed in the process. The rear headroom and shoulder room in the HRV Crossover Fit has been reduced but the rear legroom is able to offer adequate space. Then again, it comes at the cost of slashing off the size of the cargo boot.

Obviously, the HRV Crossover Fit is not built to offer the best comfort. With a nice coupe design, the only thing left for Honda to do is equip the vehicle with a powerful engine. Nothing has been revealed on this yet but we are hoping it to be a turbocharged mill to compete with the Ford Fiesta.

On the other hand, the HRV Crossover Fit is built with a CVT transmission which simply suggests it to be a fuel saver. Thankfully though, Honda has confirmed that the car will also be offered with a 6-speed manual.

Weighing at 2600lbs, the Honda HRV Crossover Fit is also a lightweight. It will be retailing at $16,000 for the base model and the price is capped at $21,000.
