2015 Honda HRV Crossover Fit: A Hatchback, A Crossover, A Coupe

If you think that the Honda Fit is great, wait till you check out on the upcoming HRV Crossover Fit. The latter is currently in development and it will be based on the former. However, the HRV Crossover Fit will come with features from the Honda HR-V while also being designed like a 2-door coupe.

Of course, claiming it to come with only 2-doors is a mistake as the HRV Crossover Fit has 4-doors to offer Honda did a fine job in hiding the rear 2-doors so that the hatchback does appear like a 2-door coupe. To further complete the coupe look, Honda has made the sloping roofline a lot steeper than before.

While the HRV Crossover Fit does look great, the design modification actually comes at the cost of comfort. It seems that the rear passengers will suffer the most here as the rear head room and shoulder room has been reduced by a margin. The leg room, on the other hand, has its measurements intact but this comes at the cost of a smaller cargo boot.

On the upside of things, the HRV Crossover Fit will be lightweight and it will come with a CVT gearbox as a standard. Of course, Honda will also be offering the hatchback with a 6-speed manual transmission as an option. When the HRV Crossover Fit makes its debut, it will retail from $16,000, all the way to $21,000.
