Honda’s marketing team had just launched a video titled R-Rated, which further promotes the Civic Type-R. However, the video seems quite bizarre as it claims that the Civic Type-R is not for every driver. When viewing the clip, we notice some weird imagery that is flickered with the upcoming vehicle.
The video consists of elements such as a pack of wolves, androgynous models, a lady with a samurai sword and a flaming speed camera. Following the weird visual communication is the Honda Civic Type-R.
It is hard to view the video with a sane mind. Perhaps, this is Honda’s way of saying that the Civic Type-R is insane at its best. This is not surprising as the car will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an estimated 280 horsepower. Then again, the engine is in doubts to arrive in the North American market.
Nevertheless, the Honda Civic Type-R will be the company’s finest vehicle to date and it will surely storm the roads when released globally. Meanwhile, fans can check out the promo video above.
