Honda has already promised a new generation of Civic Type-R will be making its debut this year but they have yet to share on a specific date or period on when that may happen.
On the other hand, the Japanese carmaker has been generous in sharing core information of the future sports hatch in recent times. For example, Honda stole the headlines when the shared that the upcoming Civic Type-R is already touted as the fastest FWD car to ever race at Nurnbergring.

Yesterday, the company stole the headlines yet again when they finally revealed the launching price of the next-generation Civic Type-R. As mentioned by Honda UK on their Twitter post, the sports hatch will be retailing at £42,950 and buyers will also get to enjoy a free track day pass.
For some, the price tag on the Honda Civic Type-R is considered to be very expensive but since consumers will be getting the best sports hatch around, there is no need to dispute in this department.
