Over the last couple of months, Honda has been pretty generous in sharing information about the upcoming Civic Type-R. The Japanese carmaker once teased that the next-gen Civic Type-R is already crowned the fastest FWD vehicle to have ever raced at the Nurnbergring.
The amazing thing here is that the record was achieve all while the Civic Type-R is still in development. On another reveal, Honda shared that the Civic Type-R will be making its debut later this year. While the automotive firm has yet to share on an exact release date, they did confirm the price tag of the vehicle.
Apparently, the next-gen Honda Civic Type-R will be launched with a price of £42,950 and buyers will also be treated to a free one day track pass. This was announced by Honda UK via their Twitter account and it has got fans of the sports hatch jumping in excitement.
With the price tag for the upcoming Civic Type-R already up in the air, all that is left is for Honda to share on when the vehicle will be making its debut.
