It is no secret that Honda will be releasing the Civic Type R early next year and it is going to be a FWD Sports Sedan like no other. Honda personally calls it the racing car on the road and promises that the design won’t be far off from its concept.
At a glance, the Civic Type R comes with dramatic wheel-arch with vent behind the rear wheel a huge rear wing with a full-width diffuser with quad exhausts. All that is missing are sponsor stickers to complete the Civic Type R as a track racing car.
Heck, it is already regarded as the fastest front-wheel car to ever race across the Nurnberg course. This is thanks to the fitted inside the Civic Type R. With it, the Type R can achieve 0-62mph in a matter of 6 seconds.
When the Type R arrives, consumers can choose from Championship White or Red & Gold. The car will also be rivalling the VW Golf R and Ford Focus RS. It will come with a price tag of £30,000 and is expected to launch late 2014.
